CivicRides is built with safety at every level of the platform. From driver verification to in-trip monitoring, we work to ensure every ride is safe for both riders and drivers.
Driver Verification
All drivers undergo background checks, license verification, and vehicle inspections before they can accept rides.
GPS Trip Tracking
Every trip is tracked in real-time via GPS. Trip data is recorded and available to both riders and drivers.
PIN Verification
Riders receive a unique PIN for each trip. Drivers must verify the PIN before starting the ride, ensuring you're in the right vehicle.
Safety Checklist
Drivers complete a safety checklist before every trip (seatbelt confirmation, correct pickup point, smoke-free vehicle).
Report a Concern
If you experience a safety issue during or after a trip, contact us immediately:

- In-app: Use the trip history to report an issue on any completed trip
- For emergencies, always call 911 first
